„Moto Rafael, the Electrical Drawer“, made by the Schichtls, a famous family of puppeteers, 1912. The puppet was operated like a ventriloquist’s puppet, i. e. by hand, not by electrical devices as the epithet suggests. It „drew pictures“ according to the audience’s wishes. Movable eye brows, moustache, and lower jaw.
